6 months...

Was sorting out all the clothes that we bought for Tyler so far and I realised that its actually quite a lot...should be sufficient for the time being...think we bought too many bodysuits...it's just so tempting to even look at those cute little outfits...Well..at least I managed to walk out of Mothercare today without buying any clothes...(bought a toy thou')
Went for ultrasound today...glad that all is well and Tyler is developing well...didn't get a picture of him today though as he was facing down...
Tyler seems to be more active in the day...with his routine kicks and somersaults...Daddy hasn't seen him in action yet...as he seems to be less active in the night...he'll get his chance soon..

Tyler's getting stronger....

First, it was just some fluttering occasionally...like a butterfly moving about in your tummy. Then the past few weeks...the kicks were getting slightly stronger...
Today, when I felt Tyler moving..I glanced at my tummy and I could see like bumps...could see certain parts of my tummy popping out...quite interesting I must say...Rare sight as well...didn't see much movement after that...Tyler probably got tired and went to sleep after all that vigorous kicking...Anticipating the next scan this Thur...can't wait to see how much he has grown...

Conclusion......

We have come to a conclusion after months of debate....... Mummy wanted Matthew initially but wasn't approved by Daddy..... Isaac and Aaron came to mind but neither came across as a meaningful baptism name..... Eventually, the both of us decided on Christian which means:

Anointed, belonging to Christ.... Jesus Christ is your patron! With this name and a heart that is devoted to Christ, you have the whole body of Christ -- the Communion of Saints -- as your prayer partners.

Xmas shopping

Daddy's blogging.....

Been a long day.... Went to godson's 2 year old birthday lunch in the afternoon... Mummy didn't go as she had a lunch appointment...... There, lunch wasn't the usual catered food but home cooked food by Kyran's grams et al.... Went to town to meet Mummy after that and did some Xmas shopping... Managed to get the stuff we wanted as well as for our little one... Bought a baby bag and tee shirt to add to Tyler's wardrobe collection... Quite an enjoyable process I must say..... In the evening, met the folks and went for Teppanyaki @ Jurong Hill.... Reasonable pricing... It's a must try.... I'm sure Tyler liked it......

Pre natal yoga..

Had my second prenatal yoga lesson yesterday...pretty good so far..trying to remember more exercises so I can do them at home too...
Here's one that's really good for backache..which is not only for pregnant mummies..

Advent Christmas season is here..... Thinking of Tyler's baptism name as well... Matthew or Christian?? We will have the answer soon.... Daddy's going with Tyler Christian. What about Mummy?

With his two legs opened wide..and there we have it!
This quite confirms the gender...Can finally buy more boy's clothes rather than those generic white ones...

From that to this...

2nd scan

Tyler at 8 weeks - 28th Aug 08 (Thur)
Second scan...was quite worried as I had some spotting..
It was a great relief to see the baby's heartbeat again..
In jus 2 weeks..he has grown quite alot!
He was 11.9 mm..

The very first scan...

Tyler at 6.1 weeks on 15th Aug 08 (Fri).
He was only 2.3mm..At that time we still didn't know the sex of the baby yet...
I remembered the blinking of the light...which was the baby's heartbeat.
That was the very first scan...and the confirmation that I was pregnant!!
Finally settling in...even after 2 testings of the pregnancy kit...it seemed really surreal....
